Comment I remembered that from the time I walked in Wing's apartment to touching the mahjong bricks, there was approximately 90 seconds only.... Make sure you bring along that old camera again this friday, please ! Yes, with a roll of B&W plastic inside ! Thanks !

Ha! I just got your message! Anyway, I've got one with better lens of the same series (Voigtlander Vitessa with Ultron 50/2) and now waiting for shipping. I love the color redition of the one I have now. However, I am going to bring it to service in order that the rangefinder be restored, the shutter works better, and sealing the bellow for leakage. Don't worry. I will let you finish the B&W before sending it to repairman.

Comment After I left Wing's place last Friday.... I realized that I never had a good chance to look at that ancient camera .... just what is it ? Does it work... ? what kind of lens it has ? Will you bring it along to Wing's place next time.... ? Of course with a roll of B&W film inside !! T

It is a Voitlangder Vitessa from the 50's of last century. The lens is a Color Skopar 50/3.5. I am testing the camera now, to see if it is fully functional. For sure I will fetch a roll of B&W next time we meet! ;-)

Comment Great Photos ! Especially that pair of white birds (what are they?).... superb, love it !! I always wonder.... Ansel Adam probably took his subjects as himself, when he was aiming at the tree, it becomes a self-portrait.... for he would think he is that tree.... and Ansel loves space.... lots of space.... ! And space nurtures life, desires, dreams and greed. Gosh ! Its been so long that I looked through the viewfinder.... ! Keep up the good work !!

Oh, Master! Thanks for dropping by! I am sure Ansel Adams love the trees, the mountains, and the wilderness very very much! (If you look at his industrial photos, you will probably feel the same apathy as I did.) For me, taking pictures is an obsession. I don't really understand what I am doing. But doing it is fun. Do drop by when you've time. I'll try to take better pictures in order not to waste your precious time!

BTW, the pair of white birds are egret. Very common in Hong Kong.
